How we know about your company

Companies House publishes every company's name, registered address and filing deadlines as public record — anyone can look them up, free. Our letters go to companies whose accounts deadline is approaching (or has passed), because a missed filing costs an automatic penalty that starts at £150 and climbs to £1,500. That's the whole story: public data, plus a stamp.

Check us before trusting us

• Check your own deadline first-hand, free, at find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk — the government register. Our letter should match it exactly.
• Check us on the same register: PromptFiling is a trading name of Northstar Infinity Works Ltd, company no. 17326480, England and Wales.
• Everything we file or invoice is anchored in a public audit chain anyone can verify without asking us — see security & verification.
• We are an independent tool — not Companies House, not HMRC, and we never pretend otherwise.

Use it — or stop it

The letter's QR code (or typed link) opens your company's deadline page: free reminders, and dormant accounts filed for £39 if you ever want that. The same page has a "stop writing to this company" button — one click, permanent, no account needed. Lost the letter? Write to [email protected] with the company number and we suppress it by hand — a person (Adam Sierant, director) reads that inbox, and paper post to the registered office in the footer works too.
